Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel

This hotel exceeded expectations with its luxurious amenities and exceptional service. the variety of food and in, room breakfast options were outstanding, while the private facilities provided much, needed relaxation with a sauna and jacuzzi. the entertainment and TV room were top, notch with plenty of options for leisure.

The only minor issue was the lack of a restaurant at this hotel, but numerous nearby options made up for it. the location advantages were also a plus, with easy access to shopping and souvenir shops.

Comfortable bed, great location, friendly staff, helpful concierge, delicious breakfast, clean room.

Everything was very good, had a pleasant stay at the hotel for 4 nights for a vacation. The room was decent size and air conditioned, on the 2nd level, I loved it. Easy check-in was a bonus.

The hotel is located in a central area, close to the main train stations, making it convenient for travelers. It is also situated near the red light district and adjacent to the picturesque Jordaan neighborhood. Additionally, there is an old church across the street, which adds a nice cultural attraction to the surroundings.

There were a few instances where the rooms were not properly cleaned and the minibar was not refilled as requested by guests.

The hotel's location is great for those who want to enjoy Amsterdam without being in the middle of everything. It is situated in a nice neighborhood for walking and not far from tourist places. guests can easily get to the red light district. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the breakfast is good with a decent spread of options.

The staff can be pushy when it comes to payments, as reported by some previous guests.

The location, the Club

Simplicity of the room and especially of the bathroom, old and small. There is no free wifi in the rooms. . The unhealthy breakfast, for a 5 star hotel only has soy milk as a lactose free option, and you have to ask for it on purpose. No fresh produce or Mediterranean diet on offer, no virgin olive oil!

I really enjoyed location and rooms.

The Loyalty Lounge was a great addition to my stay and the front desk staff was helpful and friendly. I also appreciated the note and gift left by Monika at check-in. I recommend this hotel.

The venue is outstanding, fairly clean and the location is brilliant just off the train station and all the good bars and the beautiful canals. Everything is awesome, I really enjoyed it.

location is super central and yet quiet. nice and helpful staff, equipment and size of the rooms is ok. had a double room with connecting door in 2og... could even store our roof box so we could drive into the garage with our car... staff will help you with disassembly.

corona! meant that some services such as roomkeeping were limited but could be booked additionally. as i said, staff is really very nice and flexible! furnishings are getting worn out over the years...

The room at Renaissance was incredibly comfortable and clean. The hotel had a pleasant entrance and public areas. Despite being fully booked, it was surprisingly quiet. The location was excellent, and the staff, especially the concierge Ismail, were extremely helpful.

Very quick check-in, reasonable drink prices, good breakfast choice, great location, friendly staff.

room was too small, there was just enough space between bed and dresser to walk through. bathroom was also a little small and unfortunately only a glass door, i personally do not like that much.

Very expensive for what it offers

room clean, quiet inside, nice and helpful staff, despite corona no problems in service, breakfast without buffet . la carte, every wish was fulfilled, super central located , amsterdam is easy to explore on foot (also by public transport. main station within walking distance ), many great shops and restaurants nearby,

because of corona room service, e. g. cleaning, new towels, only on request, then super, minibar fridge was switched off.

I booked Renaissance for my partner's birthday. The staff was friendly and helpful with maps and advice. The location is a short walk from the main train station, in a quieter part of the street. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The decor was lovely and the hotel was spotlessly clean. Great customer service from a helpful young lady named Laura. We had a small issue with the wine delivery, but the staff handled it politely and did not charge us for it on checkout.

Would recommend this hotel.

Super standard with lemonades in the hall (free)! Close to the railway station (5 min. on foot) and to central facilities; unique location!

Weak and very small cosmetics (shower gel is not enough for one shower). No drinks in the fridge, not even mineral water! You have to buy your own outside the hotel... For a 5-star hotel it is a bit of a neglect.

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the main train station and within walking distance to many attractions. The staff are friendly and efficient, making the check-in process smooth and accommodating our request for an early check-in. The rooms we booked, the deluxe and superior suites, were spacious and ideal for our family of five. We also appreciated the gesture of being upgraded and receiving a bottle of fizz for a birthday celebration.

The room we were initially assigned, room 112, was a disabled room and not the double room we had booked. It was noisy, both from staff movements and noise within the hotel.

Clean rooms with a spacious travel cot and comfy mattress for the little ones. Friendly reception and a thoughtful gesture with a new giraffe teddy. Close to central station and helpful staff for sightseeing advice. Location is a bit far from Dam square and Red Light streets, which some may like. Variety in breakfast would be appreciated.

We had an amazing stay. The location is perfect, being close to the train station and the red light district. The hotel facilities were exceptional, with clean and chic rooms that were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were accommodating and friendly.

Great location, close to shops, restaurants, and bars. Convenient access to public transportation. Comfortable rooms with nice amenities and clean bathrooms. Club level rooms provided access to a lounge with breakfast and evening cocktails and snacks.

Unreliable and unprofessional staff that made false promises and did not follow through. Issues with room upgrades and misleading information about available options.

That some days when we returned to the hotel in the afternoon the rooms were still not clean and we could not rest in them comfortably, there was even a day that they did not clean a room for us

The location of this hotel was great. It was within walking distance of the central train station, making it convenient for transportation. It was also close to popular tourist attractions, such as the Anne Frank house and the Red Light district. the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, providing good customer service.

Great location near the central station and main attractions. Early check-in allowed us to settle in before exploring. Comfortable beds and well-equipped gym. The breakfast offered a good variety of food, though more organic products would be nice. The club room with lounge access was a nice bonus.

central location with very close connection to the tram. hotel is an ideal starting point for sightseeing in amsterdam. many restaurants and cafés are within walking distance. very pleasant: we were able to store our luggage in the hotel on the day of departure until the evening. check-in and express check-out were absolutely uncomplicated. breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. family room for 4 persons was pleasant and spacious.

additional costs for wlan use are no longer up-to-date. there is still room for improvement in the wellness equipment. sauna would be a real added value after a long day on your feet.
